As a family-owned business, we believe strongly in giving back to the community. We continually strive to find new ways in which to offer our services to the community, help protect our local and national resources, and most importantly, provide financial assistance to those in our community who are most in need. We do so by sponsoring and providing free community shredding and recycling events several times a year, along with supporting our local charities and participating in their fundraising events.
Free shredding for Ada Township residentsOctober 18th, 2008 from 7:30am - 3:00pm
In conjunction with Ada Township's clean up day, Shred Docs will be providing free shredding for all Ada Township residents from 7:30am until 3:00pm. Our truck will be located next to the Ada Covered Bridge and the baseball fields. Residents are welcome to bring up to 100 pounds of material to be shredded and recycled ? free of charge! All material will be destroyed onsite with our mobile shredding truck. We look forward to seeing you there and helping to protect your identity and Ada Township's natural resources.
Hundreds come out for Earth Day!April 19, 2008
Every year Shred Docs offers free onsite shredding at Forest Hills Foods for Earth Day. This year?s event was our most successful ever! We had over 260 people participate and shredded and recycled over 6,500 pounds of confidential records. Because Shred Docs recycles all shredded materials we were able to not only help Grand Rapids residents protect their identity but helped save over 36 trees, 10,000 kilowatt hours of electricity, 15,000 gallons of water and 150 pounds of air pollution!
