As a family-owned business, we believe strongly in giving back to the community. We continually strive to find new ways in which to offer our services to the community, help protect our local and national resources, and most importantly, provide financial assistance to those in our community who are most in need. We do so by sponsoring and providing free community shredding and recycling events several times a year, along with supporting our local charities and participating in their fundraising events.

Ada/Cascade Clean up day!May 9, 2009 from 8:30am - 2:00pm
In conjunction with Ada Township's clean up day, Shred Docs will be providing free shredding for all Ada Township residents from 8:30am until 2:00pm. Our truck will be located next to the Ada Covered Bridge and the baseball fields. Residents are welcome to bring up to 100 pounds of material to be shredded and recycled free of charge! All material will be destroyed onsite with our mobile shredding truck. We look forward to seeing you there and helping to protect your identity and Ada Township's natural resources.
Forest Hills Earth Day Shred EventApril 18, 2009
Grand Rapids, Michigan - Celebrate the 5th annual Shred Docs/Forest Hills Foods earth Day event. Shred Docs has teamed up with Forest Hill Foods to provide complimentary, secured, confidential shredding for the public to dispose of sensitive material such as cancelled checks and tax records. There is a limit of 100 pounds per person.
On Saturday, April 18, 2009 the Shred Docs mobile shredding truck will be at Forest Hills Foods located at 4668 Cascade Avenue in Grand Rapids from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
